Our Commitment

Bucks Hornets is fully committed to the safety and wellbeing of all participants — especially children and young people under 18. We uphold the safeguarding standards set out by the UK Government’s Working Together to Safeguard Children guidance and align with NSPCC Child Protection in Sport Unit recommendations.

Key Safeguarding Measures

  • All coaches and staff are DBS-checked and trained in child protection.
  • We operate a clear Code of Conduct for players, coaches, and parents.
  • Mixed-gender teams are supported in line with equality and safety protocols.
  • Separate changing facilities or schedules are provided where needed.
  • A named Safeguarding Lead is available at all training sessions and fixtures.
